This course includes potentially activating (“triggering”) content, which could produce painful feelings for some participants by bringing personal traumatic or otherwise stressful experiences to mind. If at any time you become uncomfortable while taking this course, please stop, and seek support to help you process your thoughts and feelings at this time. You can do so by contacting your agency’s EAP or calling 988, anonymously, 24/7. You can also chat at https://988lifeline.org. If your agency requested that you take this course, either resume at a later time or, if not ready to do so, indicate to your supervisor that you are not ready to take this course at this time. You may be directed to take the course at a later time, or perhaps you may be directed to take another course, such as a course on stress management. In either case, ask for your agency’s list of resources to address these issues further.

If at any point now or later you experience substantial emotional distress or have thoughts of suicide, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline anytime, 24/7, by phone, text, or chat. Also please follow up with seeking professional mental health help.
